not him but that's a very poor response. if you're a fan of the franchise you should be point out things both positive and negative about new entries in the series regardless of your backdrop.

Doom 2016 was a fine game but it had some legit quirks in its design that even most fans will admit to be lukewarm about, myself included. the game treading the fine line between 'this is bullshit' and 'this is way too broken' with giant fucking stegosaurus feet is one of them for certain. I'm not an excellent player myself either and even I found myself blazing through the maps barely paying any mind to anything but my own speed, and I'd like the game to have a bit more depth to the way it plays other than being fast for the sake of being fast. more, deadlier enemies, more complex maps, less limitations in regards to enemy placement and usage, etc.

the original game could be improved upon on many, many fronts, and if the teaser and word from the devs themselves are anything to go by, they definitely took note. I'm pretty amped about it, I'd just love some variety thrown in, and they seem to be eager to deliver. so long as they deviate from the nu-wolf formula as hard as they can and they don't drop the ball they like fucking machinegames did, it should be okay.
