i think my retro 3x3 would answer that perfectly. i always exclusively revisit games or try to get better at them. can't waste my time on games that are clearly designed as disposable goods. if it's not fun on the third run it's not a good game. simple as.

i made a retro 3x3 in the past. All of them funny enough PSOne games.
It's games i regularily replay either for the fun or because the gameplay is deep enough to enable some shenanigangs.
I'm not so sure about Vagrant Story anymore. Rethinking that entry.
But everything else is stuff i wholeheartedly recommend

There is a lot of good stuff on the PSOne, i picked the ones i replay the most.
Vagrant Story i wish had a more explosive gameplay. Most thinks just outright get powercreped by chain attacks
