I only miss arcades because of the games with cool input devices. Lightgun games with special guns (looking at you HOTD3), those bike games and cool racing cockpits, and those non-video game electro-mechanical oddities. Call me a casual but most arcade games worth playing and that people are nostalgic for emulate really well, can be played with a myriad of control schemes if arcade sticks aren't your thing at a higher resolution and a much cheaper price of a day or ten out at the arcade.
I miss arcades, but a modern one would just be a hive for drunken normies, so yboys, and improperly maintained cabs all covered in drink spills and food crumbs.
