This post will make people mad but it's the absolute truth. It is weird how relatively small countries like the UK and Japan are basically THE important videogame countries while massive countries like China or the US who have far more people are stuck being mediocre at best.

The US has certainly had some decent games but when you try to think past their big hits like Doom etc it's difficult to think of anything particularly great. They're like China, massive country who struggles to make a proper dent in terms of videogame quality.
