There are 3 kinds of fighting games in this world my friend. The one where playing arcade mode is fun because the gameplay flows, the AI is fun to play with. The one where the arcade mode totally stinks because the AI is a bitch that reads and counters your every input. And last but not least games like 3s that are pure competitive bliss to play against fellow humans.

What i am saying is, in 25 years of playing fighting games i never ever had the ambition of learning every single game hardcore so i could face the competitive world. Many fighting games are just for casual (arcade mode) fun. Since arcade fighting games are the epitome of a quick gaming fix in general.
