If you don't like it it's fine, but I don't need to be some underage faggot for your reality to come true. I never even touched a dualshock until I had a ps2, and my console before it was the saturn.
To me D-Pad abominations is something like the dreamcast, xbox or gamecube. I don't remember how the master system d-pad was when i had it as a kid but all my MS controllers now became pretty mushy, so if they were always like that I would put them in the same category.
Again, they're fine, not the best controller around, but serviceable and doesn't really bother me in any meaningful way.
