I managed to finish the game about a year ago, but whoever designed these layers of hell must've had a sadistic streak. Even with the hint book I got lost quite a few times, especially with one of the dams, because the map itself took two pages and you couldn't see the middle part because of the crease in the middle. The game isn't hard or anything but the later dungeons are hard to navigate. Whoever finished this game without a guide back in the day or even today deserves a medal.

I love Phantasy Star II but fuck that one dungeon on Dezolis consisting entirely of pitfalls.
