Thoughts on the Babylonian Castle Saga? Never played any of these, but they seem interesting. Worth my time?

The bona fide classic. Not sure how Namco thought arcade players could read this much English though (and it's not 4-koma).

Plot is pretty fast and loose in these games, so it's not a deal breaker.

I will add that if you are going to play Druaga, play a translated version of the PCE game. It's not a port, but rather a revamp that makes the game far more enjoyable than the arcade original, which is too trial-and-error to really get in to.

Reading up on this port, it sounds pretty good. I'll have to check it out, especially with a translation patch floating around.

I find it hard to get in to the Tower of Druaga or Return of Ishtar on MAME. While I like the aesthetics and the gameplay can be kinda fun, the cryptic nature of getting the tower items kills it for me.
