I feel like Doom 3 Nightmare requires save scumming to some extent. It seems like I am supposed to spend the majority of the game 25 hp and then soulcube during key moments when I will really need more hp lol.

Playing Doom 3 for the first time since release and I can't help but wonder why they did not call it Dark 3 instead.

It's so fucking fun having to hold shift to move at a reasonable pace and being knocked back by half of enemy hits. Not to mention being forced to read e-mails to find codes for ammo necessary to play the game without your fists.

Forgive me and redirect me if this is the wrong place to post this. I'm playing doom 3, and am very much stuck. If you watch this (https://youtu.be/XglPF1cWCuw)) link and skip to 8:30, you can see where I am. However, ass soon as that guy opens that door, my game is different. The images I'm linking (http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198395889707/screenshots)) will show you in what way. I have no idea what to do now. I don't know if my version of the game is faulty or what. Any help you can offer is appreciated.

Might be the most boring FPS I ever actually bothered to complete. Jesus Christ what a pile of snore.
