Having just finished another playthrough of Fallout 1, I'm about to do the same for Fallout 2.
What are your takes on mods like the Restoration Project? Does it actually update the game to a more finished state, or does it plug in things that don't belong in the final product and were cut for good reason?
Should I just stick with the Unofficial Patch if I want a full coherent experience?

Assuming you play Fallout 2 without too a Navarro run or other methods of skipping, where do you usually go after you finish up Vault City and Gecko?
Because this is always the point in the game where I kind of stop playing.

Are there any essential dos and don'ts when it comes to building my character? Or can pretty much any build be viable?
