Markal is one of the best heroes of all time indeed. I love his traits in both HoMM 5 and Clash of Heroes. His dubbing in polish version of HoMM 5 is awesome as well.
"The Invasion" in Markal's campaign is great scenario too.

Heroes 6 is kinda slow and simplistic. I try to love this game but every time I play it something puts me off. However, I do love Heroes 5.
