/vr/ - Retro Games

I think 3 has the most going for it, but theres some really good stuff in 1 and 2. I get why people like 4, but it just doesn't appeal to me at all. She looks best in 4 though. 2 is the only one with a good endgame imo, however, and 3's bosses were doodoo. 3 is one of those games I wish they just kept making.

I played through 3 for the first time a little over a year ago and I actually didn't mind london. Lud's Gate was nothing like people make it out to be. I'd say the worst part was either the 2nd half of the first level, with those big water chambers, or the stupid secret conspiracy place in the subway level.

Everybody says this. It was too much for me, I couldnt enjoy it. I dont even like watching tartancroft play it on youtube. 3 was the best for me.

Just finished the london levels, and the hate they get is largely unjustified imo. Maybe on replays they might be annoying, but if you skip secrets you skip half or more of the time required.

So far, the indoor nevada levels were the worst. Just started south pacific.
