I own Batman Forever and love it, have since I was a kid. It does have its flaws but it is an enjoyable game when you know what you're doing (the controls are very idiosyncratic).
I can understand if people don't like it but just flat out HATING it seems pretty fucking stupid.

I think the controls are a little easier with the 6 button sega pad. But Batman Forever has always been one of my favourite games on the Megadrive/Genesis. It has this reputation of being terribad when in reality it's not so.
One of those games that gets shit on by youtubers and kids go along with it without even having touched the fucking game.

Mortal Kombat 1 is not crappy by any stretch of the imagination. Also 4 (which I fucking hated) is apparently well liked.
