I'm dusting off and reimaging my old Pi handheld for a friend. They love all the usual classic Nintendo stuff but they also love anything that's "kawaii"; Sanrio, Sailor Moon, that kinda shit. Are there any particular retro titles that are solid enough to play that have a cute and/or anime appeal? I've already got the Famicom Hello Kitty games, and Sanrio Smash Ball and the Sailor Moon games for Super Famicom. Beyond that, I'm not sure what would be a good fit, or what to look for.

Weebs of /vr/, please help me out!

How do I play NES and whatnot games online in a simple way with my friend? We tried NES Online but probably since she has a connection of <1MB of upload there is a deadly input lag, but maybe there are emulators or some softwarethat could work better.
sorry if this is unwanted request btw, but maybe we could organize something between anons.

The backgrounds of most PC Engine games usually look a little threadbare compared to Genesis or SNES even on larger Hucards or CD-Rom games. Maybe someone smarter than I am can chime in and explain why that is. I know PC Engine can’t do hardware multi scrolling, but the color depth and sprite/tile size seem about the same...
