My personal Wario holy trinity will always be the Virtual Boy game, WL4, and World.

Also, the ones where you can't be killed are incredibly lame and boring.

There's obviously a fine balance.
The old Wario Land games were peak machismo. He was tough, he was hedonist, that was manly. It got Japanese office ladies panties wet.
Warioware + Smash Bros doesn't have the mixture of manliness with his grossness.

I disliked how treasures were so easy to obtain compared to the last 2 entries. Also, the frog switch gimmick sucked. I want to explore levels at my own pace, not rush through half of a stage back to the starting point.
