It's fucking insane to me that Biohazard 1.5 was 80% complete before Capcom pulled the plug and basically said 'this is shit, re-do it.' That would never happen today, they would have shipped it as-is and that would have been the end of it. I don't doubt that the final version of RE2 was a better, more memorable game overall, but Elza's design was nice enough that I wish they had given her a smaller role in RE3 or something. I guess we can only have one cute girl at a time.
