Okay, so I've heard two takes on the Japanese Retro Scene.

>Scenario A
"The Japanese have basically replicated a rental system with the secondhand market, to where you sell your games back to your LGS so that someone else can have fun with them. Americans buying the games are genuinely destroying their retro scene by taking their stock away forever."

>Scenario B
"The Japanese by and large don't actually give a shit about retro games and have an actual glut of retro games just sitting around in second-hand shops because they don't have the raw space to just dump it in landfills. There will be plenty of retro games to go around."

Which is it?
