I think an emulator that runs 99.5% accurate on a Pentium 133 is a way more impressive piece of software than an emulator that runs 99.8% accurate but needs a Kaby Lake i7.

I've heard VBA be referred to as "the ZSNES of GBA". What is the ZSNES of other consoles? By which I mean, while the emulator isn't the most accurate or compatible, it is "good enough" for most purposes. The upside being that they're much faster and can run on shitty old hardware.
