What the fuck happened to disc 4?

The game finally felt like it was ramping up to some satisfyingly difficult gameplay toward the end of the third disc. Then you pop in disc 4, get through an alright forest section and boss fight (grig orig) and BAM. You basically spend the rest of the game cruising around empty corridors fighting nothing. The story and cutscenes throughout were good, but gameplay wise it's WEIRD how this thing drops off a cliff just as the narrative stakes come to a climax. That final boss was a wet fart of a last battle too. What were they THINKING

is it REALLY the best RPG ever or are saturnfags just trying to compensate? I am a saturnfag and I dislike RPGs, but this one looks pretty cool

What language do they speak in this? It seems to shift between some fictional language and Japanese at different times.

Is this present in the earlier games in the series too?

Has anyone else realized this game is actually kinda shit, and probably was only put on a pedestal because it was so rare?
