I still play PC games from time to time, but it's difficult to justify spending money on them when I can download and play any Saturn or PS2 game I want on actual hardware and emulate anything else on my desktop for free.

Outside of Darktide I can't think of a single upcoming game that I am even remotely excited for, meanwhile I am psyched to start the English patched version of Vandal Hearts or Shining Force III on the Saturn this weekend.

I stopped playing Rise of the Tomb Raider halfway through because I got bored, meanwhile I can endlessly replay the original game and have fun every time. I played through it again a couple weeks ago and found out that if you swan dive from the scion platform in Atlantis (the one overlooking where you fight the giant torso boss) the level is so high that Lara will scream three times before you hit the lava at the bottom.
