I was always into these games.
I take care of what I have so I can continue to enjoy it.

I just stopped caring about the latest and greatest. If I had to pin down the point where modern gaming started to loose me, strangely enough, it was when the Cromehounds server shut down. I was always frustrated with game companies two-facedly holding on to their properties forever and yet ignoring them. I hated how invasive DRM had become. I was tired of paying $60-$80 a physical copy only to have half the game locked behind a paywall.

But most of all, I'm tired of the cost.
I can have many times the gaming for a fraction of the cost going retro. Emulation, cheap copies, chink-shit, a vibrant community releasing new gubbins and even new titles for consoles I still love.
