mapper/modeller perspective.
I'd be willing to learn UEd and help out with populating the levels, or making new ones. but a basic enemy roster has to be in place, currently there isn't one. doesn't have to cover everything, just fill a couple more combat roles.
like a melee pigman to force the player to move, the assault trooper as a common projectile enemy, and some higher tier enemy to warrant the use of higher tier guns.

the way I see it, main goal is filling all the dead air. stability issues can be addressed down the line, and I'd expect the players to be ready for bugs anyway.
I also think that trying to stitch together the full story has a good chance of devolving into fanfiction cringe (see also: the library quest and the malk maze in VTMB unoffical ""patch""). just finish the existing maps, keep the abrupt transitions in, make any extra connective tissue optional and separate.

if the threads remain active (even sporadically) past the furfag tranny drama, I'll find a way to contribute regardless of chosen platform. but I'm not crawling through irc, discord or any of that shit for updates.

I decided to buckle up and turn Brutal Doom (yeah, yeah...) into something playable, for myself. I've modded other games, but never Doom.
Unpacked the pk3, then packed it back, unmodified. Now it spits out sprite errors that it didn't before. Wat do? I thought pk3=zip?
Wanna start by removing the replacement graphics: fonts, liquids, medkits. Further plans include unfucking the menus, uncluttering the inventory, resolving pistol/rifle clusterfuck, restoring the spectres. Any pointers? I'll figure it out on my own, but I'd appreciate some overview on the general structure of things.
