This game is pretty great but some parts of it are really stupid, like the occasional backtracking (the mountains are fine, but the mines are ass) and the day/night cycle being used in annoying ways (I'm fine with the dungeon that only opens at night, but a dungeon that only opens on friday mornings is a bit ridiculous). The story is also very rushed near the end, with characters, minor "factions" and plot points being introduced and then immediately forgotten (or murdered. I'm fairly sure that the entirely of not-germany gets genocided after the final boss fight).
I still had a lot of fun with it, I really enjoyed exploring the areas and some of the dungeons (except the mines, fuck the mines), the game's main story have some cool moments (like the fight in the church, the zombie invasion and the steamwoods factory), some boss fights are cool, and the music is 10/10.
I also want to fuck the rat.
