bulk slash got an English patch before princess crown did. the fuck?

They even hired English VAs to do the dialogue. Literally why this much effort?!

I enjoyed Bulk Slash for what it's worth. None of these are really killer apps though, the first party already had that covered for Saturn, just like N64.

If you like Virtual On play Bulk Slash, it just got a really good English patch with a dub a few months ago. There's thousands of Japanese games though. Maybe try MSX or PC-98 if you're up for emulating them, or just ask /jp/ (going to be mostly Touhou games there though)

I played the 32X one. I still gotta clear out more space before playing more Saturn games, last one I tried was Bulk Slash which was pretty fun. They did a really good job with the text and the voices especially.

I've been meaning to play the Macross game and Wolf Fang at some point as they're the only two shmups left on it that really interest me. I really wish there were more of the heavy metal style on Saturn

Is this game any good? I'm thinking about buying it.
