I too value a good interface but all the options are currently shit.

Pegasus is such a pain in the ass to configure, you literally need third party tools just to shit out config files. Setting it up on Android is absolute hell, and adding new shit is painful as well.
ES-DE is paywalled on mobile, scraping is shit and you can't set it as launcher without losing access to system apps. Plus it's also a pain in the ass to configure.
Daijisho is basically abandonware, it's closed source and extremely limited in terms of customization, but it's still the most convenient way to have a fully working interface at this point.

I wish there was something like Playnite on mobile.
