Long story not so short, the pokemon porygon thing really did cause seizures, but the japanese media is just as dishonest, fear mongering and sensationalist as american conservative american media in the 90s and the 2000s and current woke left media today, it was all combining two different cases, one of intoxication and a couple of cases of legit seizures, and they went full pants on head retarded with it, and since then, japan demanded no more flashing lights in anime, and doing that dreadfull frame blending effect, and the pushup for ultra washed up color palettes in modern animation.

It was all because media fearmongerin and mass histeria.

Its also for example the reason Dragonball Kai had those horribly re-drawn scenes in photoshop, mostly for scenes that had mild flashy lights effects.

I've played Unreal 2 after I gave up and overall it's pretty bad. While Unreal 1 to me wasn't amazing,it had a lot going for,like enemy AI,the atmosphere,the soundtrack and even the gunplay was good.

Unreal 2 feels like one of those movie sequels of classics that no one asked for

Half-Life Absolute Zero just came out on Steam a week or two ago and it's one of the most pathetic mods I've seen.

There's a joke about how most of the beta mods die off because they keep remaking Ted Barney over and over again, but in AZ's case it's literally the case.
