As for why the company collapsed, it's because Commodore failed to produce another computer that could uphold the legacy. IBM PC clones were becoming cheaper, and by the time Doom came out (which, by the way, the shit SNES had exactly zero chance of running, even with an expensive cheater expansion, as evidenced by the God-awful port, possibly the worst port of Doom of them all) it was clear that PCs could match or exceed what the latest Amigas were doing. I'm not a Commodore loyalist, which is why I will gladly admit that many Mega Drive ports improved Amiga games. I'm simply here to point out that you nintendrones have exactly zero leverage to be talking shit about the Amiga, as you constantly do, when your shit SNES is what you have in retort. The SNES isn't even in the same league. It's totally one-upped by the entire rest of the 16-bit generation, with a shit library of slow and boring games made for young children. How you nintendrones defend it so vehemently is simply beyond me. Play some real 16-bit games.
