It's pretty hard not to improve on the 5200 controller although there are only two and they both fetch a pretty handsome price. The Wico analog one seems a bit more popular, but I think the OEM stick is acceptable for those few games that require analog control plus I don't love the feel of big analog joysticks so I have the Coin Controls one. It's basically just like their common C64 one except it's 5200 compatible
