I'd love to be at one of the marketing meetings when these games were being evaluated by the game companies.

I can imagine a group of suit wearing office workers sitting at a round table, staring drearily at a large print of the Japanese cover art plastered on the board. One of the workers pulls down a silk cloth from the board, unveiling an even larger print of the newly designed American cover art. Everyone stands up in unison, applauding the new design, some of them misty-eyed. Meanwhile, right outside one of the windows, an American flag can be seen flapping vigorously in the wind, along with the boom and crackle of fireworks being set off in the distance.
