nah. it's got a 16gb internal microSD and an external microSD port. Though programs for Dingux on the Zero do have thier own format called OPK. Which is a zip file wrapper that includes an icon and shortcut stuff for the frontend along with line command shit.

Got one and it's my on the go Doom machine.

YEAH BUDDY. That makes two of us on this board. Love my GCW-Zero. Also just got a Gamebuino. Primary recommendation is Chocolate Doom. It's not on any of the official list of software but still on the googledrive.

Way to much baseless negativity toward this device. Surprisingly less on /vr/ through.

GCW-Zero is the new hotness. Unless of your you're talking about performance, resolution, and availability of emulators and software then JXD is the new hotness. But if you mean hardware specifically designed for retro games displayed on a low PPI 320x240 4:3 screen and open software then I assure you the GCW-Zero is the new hotness.

I've got a GCW-Zero and like it alot. The PS1 emulator is still in development. If that's a deal breaker then stick with/pickup a PSP. It's a handheld Linux PC in the form of a handheld. So it's got plenty of ported emulators including DOS, Amiga, Atari ST, MSX and other retro PC systems. Also 4th gen consoles and below as well as arcade emulation on MAME for systems like CPS-2 and Neo-geo. Then there's ported commercial open software like Doom, Quake, Duke3D, RoTT, Decent. As well as some systems for indie games like EasyRPG for RPG Maker, Love2D, Pygame, OpenBor, HTML5, Solarus. And ported freeware like Sqrxz 1-4, Cave Story, Streets of Rage Remake, Abbaye des Morts, and Powder. So yeah there's a lot of fucking games in this thing but as of yet no Touhou.

My new Doom handheld arrived. No more DSDoom without music.

I will miss that second screen map though. How do you take Doom with you?
