i saw the most shiite nintendists and metroidfags all over the place praising NuDoom for being the 1st and real metroid prime game in years, even if is a doom game, its a game that took a lot from Prime for inspiration

WHICH IS ironical since Romero, Tom hall, Carmack said once that one of the inspirations for dooms atmosphere and the doomguy's earlier concepts were taken from Metroid series

and the praetor suit on NuDoom look a LOT with the Varia Suit mixed with the Classic Doomguy armor


as for the 2D game, id be glad if they took AM2R and SM as inspirations for a new game, but seeing how assholes in kyoto cares only about Mario and zelda...
