I like how easy on the eyes manga109 scales are, even ran through twice.
There's no psychedelic hallucination patterns, no sharp xBRZ/Sai2x/HQ/etc warping, no nearest/linear aliasing. And it's not nearly as blurry as bicubic or ringed as lanczos. It generally just produces a straightforward image that quite resembles print.
