The first time I realized something fishy existed was during the double jump you have to do in this screen in mario 1, I was playing at the office with a friend and it was extremely hard, then I tried at home in the console and it really wasn't difficult...of course since then I continue playing on emulators all the time while my nes serves mostly as a decoration, but you can fell the difference for sure
