For all its classes and multiple storylines, SD3's combat was shallow as fuck.

OP already thinks Mana was too grindy, you think he's going to enjoy waiting for Beastmaster McFurLord to transform multiple times between enemy encounters?

So, I can't actually remember most of this game, despite playing through it on three separate occasions. It was pretty forgettable.
But the end boss was fucking epic.

Fighting a massive dragon bigger than the fucking screen on top of a flying techno-fortress, with your team mates constantly charging up your weapon so you can hurt the damn thing. With incredible music.
