Might just be a preference thing, but I’ll take warping textures over ugly blurry ones straight out of MSpaint and jittering polys if I can see more than fucking 5 of them on screen at a time and not have to rely on shitty prerendered sprites for half of my assets. Spyro alone looks better than any n64 platformer

Like I said, more people wanted and bought the PSX, that alone should tell you which brought the better experience. Money wise, Sony still raked in more money despite production costs as far as raw numbers show.
