jeez i was born in 1994 and even i feel like i kinda missed pokemania, my kindergarten class was in 1999 and a bit too young to be playing the games and it ended up not really catching on in my class, i was the only one super into it. i'm sure two grades up they were ballin'
i didnt even get into pokemon for real until after the first movie came out and the merch blitz inspired me to get pokemon yellow and let pokemon take over my life

in retrospect one of my favorite weird pokemon things is gold and silver still being a fucking beta with dumb shit like the dog designs being weird. that's not to get into sw97 and all that other shit

so I've gotten to the end of the game without encountering any of these fuckers even once, what's the quickest way to find at least one? Just wanna throw my master ball at it
