I willingly sold my childhood copy of Blue for a few bucks

it had all 151 mons and around 100 of them at lvl 100 (which meant in some cases stuff like having the final evo at lvl 100 but also the evo down the line)

The clock was frozen at the maximum time so I don't know exactly how much went into it but easily 500 hours

My advice: it's not 1998 anymore, just emulate and that way you can trade with yourself. I did that and got all 151 again in Blue last year, by trading with another game of Yellow and Crystal I was doing at the same time.
That way you can also do fun stuff like play the romhack recreation of Japanese Blue which has wild Jynx, or give yourself any pokémon you want as starter by trading with hatched eggs from Crystal
