Bubsy is going through the same thing MD Geist went through. It's a product that has a bad reputation not because of the actual quality but more because of how much it got pushed as THE MOST AMAZING THING EVER when it was released causing everyone to hate it as a kneejerk response. Lately it's been gaining a fanbase of people who weren't around when it was pushed allowing it to be judged for what it truly is.
A very mediocre platformer that's just like all the other poor attempts to dethrone Sonic.
