If you by "Sitting Distance" you mean I'm on a couch with my PVM pretty far back I assure you that's not the case. That's not an ideal way to play a K&M game like Thief. My PVM was at the same distance as my LCD monitor when I took those pictures, and I swapped it out for a proper PC CRT which is also at the same distance.

I'm not really here to shoot down the concept of CRT shaders just giving my honest feedback. It just looks like a screen door to me. Either the gradient is too uniform, it's too intense, there's a lack of randomness or something subtle if off. It looks fine when your eyes adjust to it after a while, but at first glance something is off. Maybe I'll figure out what that is one of these days. I plan on emulating a CRT for a game I'm working on.
