It was iterative not innovative, and we all know deep in our hearts that was a good thing. We know what happens when Nintendo decides to innovate.

wii craze was short lived, 360 and ps3 both took sales from each other and they both sold 80 mil each, wii was 100 mil

wii u isn't doing as well because it did not keep the casual audience

wii was a small speed bump in nintendo's path towards bankruptcy that began with this
