>Mother is the best game in the franchise
>There is no definitive version of the game
>The GBA version is sacrilege for fucking up the music
>Easy Ring ruins the entire game
>Sandhop’s script is a spectacular take on the original, and in some ways improves upon the original with better jokes and character tweaks
>Running ruins the pacing of the game
>The censored sprites are a direct negative and should be altered back to their original state whenever possible
>Tomato/the original script is darker and has a few poignent lines that outshine a few lines from Sandhop’s version
>The truncated Tomato script is preferable to the full one by virtue of it being on the NES version of the game
>Mother or Earth Bound is a better name than Earthbound Zero or Earthbound Beginnings
>The American extended ending is absolutely required

I love the game any way I play it though. Such a magical and beautiful experience. If I have to not be nitpicky, I go with vanilla EB0 every time. If i’m being autistic, I go for EB0 with uncensored sprites, a Mother title screen hack and no running.
