So I just did that >>3106512
Apparently every single shader I posted before is off by a large margin when it comes to color, contrast and darkness.
My CRT displayed pictures just half a tone darker/blander than default epsxe, almost indistinguishable from it.
While stuff looked ok on my CRT, the pictures I took with my phone looked a bit too dark or saturated.
I'll post them nevertheless, for science.

First pic taken on epsxe, with smoothing and enhanced internal resolution and the other taken on epsxe with no bells and whistles.
Then same pics displayed on my CRT and pics taken with phone.
Note that colors are actually a bit too intense because my phone decided that, what I see on my CRT is just half a tone darker than epsxe, the colors are also a bit weaker compared to epsxe.

Apart from color balance what I seen on my CRT looked a lot like this shader from Retroarch >>3095919 >>3100547 >>3100669
Its extremely realistic shader when it comes to how image actually looks on CRT, just need its color balance adjusted and toned down and it will be a perfect shader.for me.

This stuff >>3103010 >>3103013 >>3103021 >>3103074
while provided nice smoothing effect on epsxe is way off in color and darkness, I think if I adjust those it will be ok for 2.5D games.

A curious experiment I have to say.
