Have any tales of "the one that got away" when it came to buying games? I'll start.

Passed up an offer to buy a mint copy of a big box Warzone 2100 for $1. I had already bought ten other games the day and was burnt out from buying any more. It's always gnawed away at me.

What is your opinion on repairing and touching up retro video games? Should they be left in the condition they are found or should they be restored to look like what they would have been fresh out of the box?
