I think it began as a fake-retro PC game but got ported to the ZX Spectrum. I played the Genesis/MD version, which lets you select the style of graphics you want. Honestly think the Speccy graphics look best for it. It really is pretty good, although I got stuck in it.

And then we have Deep Ones, pic related, which is kinda... cheap Unity trash. Didn't seem too hot based on the demo. "Mesmerizing graphical aesthetic", though.
