I think the guys who have actually worked there for up to 10 years and watched Arino play through them live, dawn 'til dusk, have more of a right and appreciation of the actually used copies hanging there on display. It's like a wall of memories to a lot of 'em no doubt.

People have real life obligations such as jobs and thus limited free time, the subbing is all done for no compensation on their own time so I can imagine people not wanting to spend it all on subbing a show they've already spent 1000+ hours on by now.

Probably just a busy spell IRL + DKC 2 triple episode taking extra time since they tend to release multi-part episodes close to each other. Have patience.

Eh, even the Japanese only get one DVD per year so time will tell how it goes. KOTAK originally purchased the licenses to the bunch we see on the western DVD and they're probably not going to do more considering how poorly they handled it so it's up to Discotek or some other company to spend their money. It's not exactly a risk-free investment since the concept of the show is never going to work as well in the West as it does in the console-crazy Japan.

As an outsider it's pretty difficult to say how much effort or money is or isn't put into things at the moment as well.
