>stays there from about 1990 to 2007
>huge awesome marquee with wicked hand-made paintings on the storefront
>highly nostalgia and one of my favorite places in the universe
>shuts down one day in 2007
>cool marquee covered with blank white wall

>fast-forward to a couple of months ago
>walking in the mall
>see the blank wall is gone and the old familiar arcade graphics are rockin' the wall out front
>I think arcade is back so I excitedly rush up to it
>..hmm, something is different..
>turns out it's occupied by a shitty butt-rock radio station with DJ booth that looks out in to the food court
>two untalented, unfunny faggots do their lame by-the-numbers "morning zoo" radio show there every weekday >they play Creed and Nickelback albums in between their terrible skits
>their booth is in the exact same area where the Tekken machines were

They didn't even change the paintings out front; they just lazily slapped a big ugly adhensive sticker with their logo right on the paintings where the arcade name was, which will likely peel the paint off when they try to remove the sticker.

It just keeps getting worse. I can deal with a favorite thing being dead, but it's the bastardization of its corpse that gets me. I'm sure by 2020 it'll be a MLP-only store or something equally horrible.
