I thought the value of the games was more about their physical appearence and all instead of the data?
Much like how digital versions of card games don't really devalue the actual physical cards.
I still don't understand this mentality of how perservation "devalues" the items in that regard.

>if it's about third party controllers, they're completely unreliable, uncomfortable, and of poor quality
Until a company like Samsung or Sony come up with an official handeld-fied android phone with quality physical buttons, android devices for me will be a strong no.
I know the Xperia Play and Nvidia Shield Portable are a thing, but their hardware and versions of android are very obsolete compared to the modern standard unless you're into 4th gen games and lower, which at that point might as well invest in a PSP or 3DS.
