I kinda agree mostly.
Its certainly not a single culprit but a victim of the times as usual for anything really. Even the "based " games of yesterday.
They certainly have the right for their interpretation of doom. Its not like going Metal or dungeon synth cover image album would bring in the normie money.
For me the true Doom still lives in the technohell logo, and being scared shitless as a kid of the demons especially the cyberdemon and imagery.
Shadow warrior also got sanitized. IF is not as crazy or edgy as it thinks it is.
