I've been wondering about my PVM-14N6U.
This model of PVM has RGB inputs, but they're only RGB, not component. But theoretically, could madman do something like an IC replacement or custom firmware allow it to support component? It already supports sync on green, so maybe all it needs to know is how to interpret color? I'm talking out of my ass but I wonder if it could be done.
Also to anyone who finds a PVM-14N5U, even though they don't have RGB BNC connectors they are extremely easy to mod for it. Sony even left the damn holes for the plugs behind the big back sticker, lol.
