>yet to pick up a chaingun
>two chaingunners A and B in a room with cover
>kill A with shotgun
>move around cover to get a decent angle to shoot B
>accidentally grab chaingun by stepping on A's corpse
>B gets ~40 free damage while the weapon switching animation slowly plays
This happens more often than I'd like
